At GAIAM, our community is our top priority. While we welcome sponsorship, sponsors must adhere to our community-first philosophy, which forms the foundation of all our sponsorship policies.

Hard Rules

These are the strict, non-negotiable guidelines for sponsors:

  • Sponsors will always be clearly identified as such.
  • Aggressive sales tactics targeting our community members are strictly prohibited.
  • We will never sell personal information about our community members to sponsors (e.g., for mailing lists).
Soft Rules

Sponsors should view our community as collaborators, not sales leads.

We expect sponsors to lead by example and act as responsible members of the community. While it’s acceptable to subtly promote job opportunities or showcase your products, hard selling is not allowed. Additionally, sponsors should avoid asking community members to join their mailing lists.
